Tulmar manufactures protective covers and stowage equipment for military vehicle programs under contract to leading vehicle OEMS including General Dynamics Land Systems and BAE Systems.  With over eighteen years experience producing vehicle stowage equipment and providing technical support to our OEM customers we have the expertise to develop custom stowage products designed for manufacturability and performance.   We use high performance fabrics built to military specifications and the latest in bonding technology to enhance water resistance and extend product life.

We have provided a range of stowage solutions from cargo containment nets for MILCOTS trucks to tent adapters for the M113 armored personnel carrier.   Protective covers and stowage equipment designed by Tulmar are in service on Canada's LAVIII and Bison armored vehicles and other military vehicles in North America and abroad.

Tarian Fabric RPG Shield

Through our partnership with AmSafe Defense, Tulmar brings the Tarian^TM armor solution to the Canadian defence community.   Working with Britain’s Ministry of Defense, AmSafe developed  Tarian, a novel solution to anti-tank rockets: fabric panels mounted on the sides of trucks and armored vehicles.  AmSafe's Tarian (Welsh for "shield") now deployed by British forces, offers several advantages over cage armor including a 50% weight savings over aluminum cage armor and an 85% savings over steel cage options.
