Tulmar Safety Systems welcomes its new President & Chief Operating Officer: Patrick Tallon

Hawkesbury, ON, Canada (May 6th, 2019) –Tulmar is welcoming Patrick Tallon within its senior management team. Patrick will take on the mantle of the company’s new President & Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O.) during this time of growth and expansion for Tulmar.

“Patrick brings with him exceptional experience in business operations, business development, strategic planning and leadership.” Says Barney Bangs, Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) of Tulmar Safety Systems. “I am thrilled that Tulmar has gained such a qualified and experienced individual to take the title of President & C.O.O. and guide the company through this time of modernization, the acquisition of new products, services and capabilities and the globalization of our customer base.”

Patrick is a graduate from the Laurentian University, having earned a Bachelor of Commerce. His most recent position was as Vice-President of Professional Services for North America at Xerox Global Services. With over 20 years of executive experience and being the focus executive for the government of Canada, Patrick has proven to have great strengths and skills in the international development of a company and the management of its complex operations. In addition, Patrick was responsible for leading over 1800 associates in their mission to provide world class solutions. Through all his endeavors, Patrick demonstrates great focus towards customer satisfaction, employee engagement and continuous improvement, three core principles within Tulmar’s culture.

Patrick is relocating to the Hawkesbury area, in the Champlain Counties with his wife Roxann. There they will get to enjoy all the natural beauty and resources this region has to offer. “I’m excited to get the opportunity to join such an innovative company and to become a part of Tulmar’s group of creative and dedicated people.” Says Mr. Tallon. “I love the idea of being a part of the industry of Aerospace, Defence and Civil Aviation during this time of growth, and to take advantage of all the market’s rapid expansion has to offer. Of course, I also want to give a special thank you to both Barney Bangs and Peter Andrews for providing me with this opportunity.”

Peter Andrews, Tulmar’s current Chief Operating Officer will remain as both a consulting resource and mentor, guiding Patrick’s through a transition process over the months of May and June with an “official” transition of responsibility planned for early June. Peter will also have an ongoing role with Tulmar as the Chair of a newly formed Advisory Board.
